Trained in Graphic Art, through Redditch College and Wolverhampton Polytechnic, Lesley , the proprietor of The Cake Box, opened the doors to her shop in early 1995.

As one of the pioneers of SUGARCRAFT STUDIOS in the Midlands, Michael Gadd has had over a quarter of a century, pleasing many people with celebration cakes.
In 1973 Michael Gadd took over a derelict building in Watsons Green Road and set about adding on craft studios, which developed into a purpose built Sugarcraft Centre.
